1. Dubai Marathon is being held on January 7, 2023. It is the largest and fastest marathon in the Middle East. The good news is that #Dubaimarathon is back to its famous course!

2. Dubai Marathon is managed by Pace Events.
3. Pace Events is taking on the RAK Half Marathon, one of the most famous elite events in the Middle East. RunBlogRun visited in 2018 and will be helping promote it in 2024. Watch for details (hoping end of February 2024).
4. NYC Marathon has 51,402 finishers in 2023,
up seven percent from 2022, but not to record-setting finisher performance in 2019.

5. Great women’s race, very tactical, and a stunning finish!
6. Men’s race very fast; 10 hit 64 minutes at
half marathon, and only 3 men under 2:10!
7. Tamirat Tola won on the third attempt at the NYC Marathon and finished 4th in his last two attempts.
8. The next big marathons are Honolulu and Fukuoka.
9. Truly enjoyed the tactical nature of the Women’s race in NYC!
