This is your workout for Week Nine, Day 6.

Your workout is warm-up slowly, some stride-outs, a focused race at 800 meters,

1,500 meters or 5,000 meters, then a slow cool-down.

Your race today comes after nineteen weeks of training, and you should feel pretty good in racing right now.

Racing is getting faster and faster; remember to keep your focus over the last quarter of the race and try some different attempts at when you should make a major move in the races.

You might want to try the tip that I got from Bernard Lagat, who said that you should keep your cool and kick in the final 100 meters. If you do this, you better have a quick finish!
