It is the long run.

The long run is part of the Sunday plan.

You warm up, run for 75-90 minutes, and then cooldown.

Sunday runs are part of the weekly plan all year long. I began them my sophomore year and did not miss long runs for the next 10-15 years.

The long runs help build endurance and confidence.
