halloween10k.jpegST. LOUIS - (October 17, 2010) - The second GO! St. Louis Halloween 10K, on Sunday morning, eclipsed a long standing St. Louis record for the most finishers in a 10K road race. The event sold out at 5,000 registrants this year, while just over 3,900 completed the race. The previous city record was set in 1989 with 3,300 finishers.

chilipepperfestival_bears.pngThe cross country Bears placed twelfth as a team during the 2010 Chile Pepper Festival. The Bears were led by walk-on freshman Leah Nichols who crossed the line at 17:20.71, the second-fastest 5K time in Missouri State history.

The Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. on Oct. 16 will not only be the final regular season meet for the Bears, but the largest meet of the season.
