Train for Autism is an organization to promote awareness, treatment and detection of autism. Many local triathlons/runs/and other events are held around the country to raise funds and spread the news. I am interested in this charity because the cause not only supports a healthy lifestyle, but also supporting those with autism. My sister works with autistic children, and I have helped out in her classroom and have witnessed autism first hand.

July 31, 2008 (COLORADO SPRINGS, CO) USA Triathlon anticipates more than 200 youth and junior triathletes will travel to Colorado Springs to compete in the Youth and Youth and Junior Elite National Championships on Saturday, August 9. Many of the participants are from Colorado, so there wil be a real local feel to the event.

Following closely behind was Team USA Minnesota's Katie McGregor, the recent fourth place finisher at the recent U.S. Olympic Trials in the 10,000 meters.

Beth Salinger, race director, approached Racetrackers with the request to provide "something new and unique" to be given to participants. The total project took less than 3 months from idea to delivery.

July 28, 2008 from Running USA wire (SAN FRANCISCO CA) When over 19,000 entrants line up for The San Francisco Marathon(TM) and its companion two half-marathons and 5K Run / Walk on Sunday, August 3, San Francisco attorney Tony Rossmann won't be among them. The 67-year-old, long-time Bay Area runner from Oakland has already run his 26.2-mile marathon race over the event's scenic route.
